Plans for Protest During the Democratic National Convention

After the city announces who will be allowed to use Civic Center Park during the DNC, ReCreate 68 and other protest groups hold a press conference to say they are continuing their plans for protest during the convention.

    So, wait, what?!? Why are we protesting the DNC? To try and remind Democrats that there are better possibilities than the positions they have already laid out? To stress that peace in the Middle East means not always supporting one side? Because we want the war in Iraq to go a few more years longer?

    “Make it 50!”

    Or is the plan to remember what it was like to be a hippie? To leave a bunch of trash behind in a public park? To take it to the man?

    How about saving the fossil fuel on a trip to Denver and go to the root of all evil at the RNC!
