   I saw Elizabeth Joyce on Larry King tonight. I had not heard of her before and had not heard the true reasons why Hillary supporters continue to not support Obama and hold on to supporting Clinton. I must admit that at first I didn’t get it as I too wanted Hillary (I have a photo of me sitting 2 feet away from Bill Clinton at one of the debates, and I went to a fundraiser with Dolores Huerta). But the point is that we live in a democratic society and she didn’t win. And the fact of the matter is that although she got 18 million votes, Obama won. But I do actually understand how Elizabeth feels after listening to her tonight. And this is not a hate email to her. In fact, it is quite the opposite. I really hope and also believe that Barack will reach out to all of you Hillary supporters, including me (hey, I was hoping to get the text message that she was chosen to be VP), but it didn’t happen. I think Hillary made the point when she asked if voters voted for her, or the cause. I hope that you can open your heart and mind at least a tiny bit. For whatever reason, I did not have the same feeling after Barack won. I accepted it and embrace him wholeheartedly. I truly believe experience means nothing as he has demonstrated he has good intuition and judgment. I hope you are able to find some peace and clarity on this issue. I personally do not want 4 more years with McCain. Best to you Elizabeth and all Hillary supporters.
