Eyes Wide Open Exhibit
August 27th, 2008 Shelley Schlender
Eyes Wide Open is a traveling exhibition spotlighting the human cost of war. Organized by the American Friends Service Committee, the event features a pair of boots honoring each U.S. military casualty, a field of shoes and a Wall of Remembrance to memorialize the Iraqis killed in the conflict, and a multimedia display exploring the history, cost and consequences of the war.
KGNU’s Shelley Schlender reports from the Eyes Wide Open Exhibit at the City of Cuernavaca Park, Denver.
